Description

E316L is a gas-shielded stainless steel flux-cored wire designed for welding 316/316L austenitic stainless steels. With low carbon content and high molybdenum), it delivers exceptional resistance to chloride-induced corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking, making it ideal for demanding environments such as chemical processing, marine engineering, and food production. The rutile-based slag system, combined with shielding gas, ensures smooth all-position welding, minimal spatter, and consistent bead appearance.
