Description
ER316L is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel welding wire designed for welding 316 and 316L grades of stainless steel, as well as dissimilar metals like carbon steel and low-alloy steels. The low carbon content and molybdenum synergy reduces the risk of carbide precipitation during welding, making it ideal for applications exposed to high temperatures and corrosive environments. ER316L is highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it a preferred choice for industries that require enhanced corrosion resistance(marine, chemical, nuclear).
